Short Story Intro.Death used to be something that was unexpected, sad, and emotionally obliterating. Just the sound of the word sent shivers down the spines of almost every culture. So frightening that groups were founded to help people cope with death. Groups that would say that it is okay when you die. That you end up in a place where everything is how you want it to be and it is impossible to be sad. A place that is simply indescribable by human terms. Death was scary to young people. Children would have nightmares about it, only to soon be comforted by the notion that there is life after death and that there is nothing to worry about. The elderly, wise forShort Story Intro.
